Departures from the South London/Surrey airfield will see the helicopter fly North from its base, past Epsom Race Course and Richmond Park before joining the River Thames in West London near Barnes.
From this vantage point you can view Battersea Power Station, Hyde Park, The Royal Albert Hall and approach Buckingham Palace from the rear gardens.
Following the river onwards into Central London viewing The Houses of Parliament, London Eye, Trafalgar Square, Horse Guards Parade, St Paul’s Cathedral , The Globe Theatre, The City, The Tower of London, HMS Belfast, Tower Bridge and The Shard.
You will then continue on to view Canary Wharf and the The 02 Arena with the Thames Barrier and City Airport a little further on. Then turning right in Greenwich before returning to the base.
Departures from the West London/Bucks airfield will see the helicopter will take a similar Central London route, but turn left after Tower Bridge to return to base.
There is a chance of helicopters not flying due to unsuitable weather or operational reasons.
There is a weather check done on the day (usually by 10am) by the pilot and their decision is final.
